The Welsh research program, Future Skills Wales (FSW) has to date consisted of three surveys (in 1998, 2003 and 2005) commissioned by the FSW partnership. The focus of the first two surveys was to look at the generic skills requirements of employers in Wales. In both years parallel studies were carried out among Welsh households to identify the skills offered by the Welsh population.
